ArchES Computing Systems is an innovative startup company focusing on accelerating time-critical applications by way of custom hardware architectural enhancements. Specifically, ArchES Computing Systems specializes in the development of high-performance reconfigurable computing systems using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) computer chips. FPGAs are computer chips containing a large amount of initially unspecified logic elements. Through the combination of high-level hardware and software languages, ArchES creates custom hardware circuits interfaced with high-performance processors, yielding an execution environment that is in some cases multiple orders of magnitude faster than the original software-only implementation.
